What does hw, cw, gw1, gw2, gw3 and ugw mean?

  • These are all weight loss terms: hw means high weight, cw means current weight, gw1 means goal weight one, gw2 means goal weight 2, gw3 means goal weight 3, and ugw means ultimate goal weight.  

What is cardio?

  • Cardio is anything that gets your heart beating faster, like running or dancing. Zumba is a great example of cardio, and so is going on the treadmill or the elliptical machine at your local gym. Any of those things are gonna shed fat. Something I do almost every day is the World’s Fastest Workout. It’s a four minute workout that is supposed to jumpstart your metabolism for the next 36 hours, so it’s worth it. Here’s the link:

What’s a good dietary intake?

  • Eat five or six small meals a day, but consume at least 1,200 calories. Change your diet to good foods that you enjoy eating, like fruits or veggies. Get in your daily amount of protein and whole grains. Green tea and water are GREAT things to drink. Make sure to do cardio and then muscle toning. 

How do you fight cravings?

  • It’s going to be hard fighting cravings, so instead of totally cutting out junk food, give yourself a small treat once a week if you’ve been good. If you want that one brownie during the week, than have half of it. It’ll help keep you focused and keep you from binging. If your afraid to eat those sorts of foods, try sugary health foods like apples. They’re awesome snacks and fill you up.

Optimal way to lose weight?

  • The best way to lose weight is do to cardio 6x a week and core training

How can i lose weight in one section such as my thighs, stomach, legs, arms?

  • It’s hard to lose weight in one area because your fat is stored like an armor on your body. If you want to lose weight and tone one section you have to do cardio. If you want to maintain your weight but lose it on one area adjust your dietary intake to about 1780+ calories to keep your weight the same but by doing cardio/core it builds muscle and sheds the fat.
